Waikato Milking Systems - named Best Agribusiness Outdoor Site (Medium).
Waikato Milking Systems was a winner at this year’s National Fieldays held at Mystery Creek near Hamilton, from June 12-15.
The company’s Fieldays site was named Best Agribusiness Outdoor Site (Medium) by judges looking over the hundreds of exhibitors who took part in this year’s event.
Upgrades and milking automation was the key focus for the company at Mystery Creek.
Its site was expanded, to reflect the company’s commitment to the New Zealand market, and to accommodate new products and technology designed to help farmers grow the value of dairy.
The site was geared towards helping farmers discover how they could get more out of their existing products and systems, whether that be upgrading technology or dairy systems.
The larger site also offered more room for Hi-Tech Enviro Solutions, which was fully integrated with Waikato Milking Systems on June 1.
Hi-Tech’s products and services are now known as our Effluent and Environmental product line and stand as a core product of the business.
The emerging sheep dairy industry and the developed niche goat dairy industry were also among the new features Waikato Milking Systems showcased at Fieldays.
There was also a focus on the company’s latest Centrus Composite Rotary platform, advances in milking automation technology and the NaviGate dairy management hub.
An interactive computer display took visitors on a virtual tour of a dairy, where people were able to understand how the technology and components of a milking system worked.
