Chief Executive Dean Bell took Mr Bennett on a tour of the company’s design and manufacturing facilities, to demonstrate the breadth and scale of work the company is involved in. Mr Bennett met and chatted with staff.
Waikato Milking Systems is the only 100% New Zealand owned designer, manufacturer and exporter of dairy technology. It is involved in more than 20 countries around the world including all the leading dairying nations.
Mr Bennett visited the company’s new complex that is under construction now at Northgate Business Park, 8km north of Hamilton. The new complex will bring together all of the company’s operating units for the first time.
Mr Bennett says Hamilton is a rapidly growing city with an important role in the future of the country. He is a member of Parliament’s finance and expenditure select committee, and chairman of the transport and industrial relations select committee.
