SmartD-TECT

SmartD-TECT is a breakthrough in mastitis identification technology.

No other system automatically tests each quarter individually during milking to accurately notify the operator of potential mastitis cases. The sensitivity can be tuned to suit any individual preference and the onset of mastitis identified up to four days before visual or clinical signs are evident. This gives you the ability to make decisions about your animals before they cost you in lost productivity. Milking time and yield are not affected and the technology can be retrofitted or installed into any conventional milking system.

On rotary platforms, SmartD-TECT and SmartECR (electronic cup remover) integrate to control the BailMate ram. If SmartD-TECT identifies a problem, the cow is presented back to the operator for inspection — a perfect solution for a one-man operation.

SmartD-TECT will link with external herd management systems to load results to the database and automatically draft problem cows for inspection.

SmartD-TECT Pulsator
This pulsator controls individual pulsation signals to the cluster allowing each quarter to be milked separately at the start of milking. The in-built software identifies abnormalities between individual quarters of the udder.

SmartD-TECT Sensor
This sensor is attached to the milk line at every cluster to measure the conductivity of the milk from each cow. The results are sent to the pulsator for interpretation.

SmartCONTROL
SmartCONTROL is the touch screen panel that controls the settings of all our premium new generation technology including SmartD-TECT’s sensitivity settings.

SmartPULS

SmartPULS is an exceptional digital pulsation system that opens and closes your liners consistently and dependably every milking – providing optimum milking performance.

Pulsation is the heart of your milking system that enables cows to be milked with the use of vacuum, and SmartPULS is the ultimate choice.

The pulsation technology works in harmony with your cows for maximum milk quantity and quality. The system is designed to limit congestion and oedema in teat tissues during milking, reducing discomfort for the cows and reducing new mastitis infections. Four models are available, giving you lots of flexibility and choice. Each option can be customised.

Its 4+0 configuration ensures a consistent milking vacuum and is ideal for small milking systems and bucket milkers. Pulsation ratio can be easily adjusted to suit operator preferences.

PulseGUARD is a particle trap built as a screen to stop small stones and other material from getting into the heart of your milking machine - your pulsator.

Specifically designed by Waikato Milking Systems, PulseGUARD protects against costly downtime caused by the accidental transmission of foreign matter. Replacement screens are available.
