In little more than 50 years Waikato Milking Systems has earned international regard for dairy systems and technology which are innovative, superbly designed and manufactured to a standard without equal around the world.
Our heritage dates back to 1967 when, as a subsidiary of Alex Harvey Industries, a range of general components was produced under the AHI brand complementing a range of vacuum regulators and milk meters manufactured under the Waikato Milking Systems brand.
Several ownership evolutions took place over following years and today Waikato Milking Systems is, 100% New Zealand owned by Tainui Group Holdings, Ngai Tahu Capital, Pioneer Capital and members of the senior management team.
The 100% New Zealand ownership positions the company well for ongoing product development, national and international growth.
